Did you know that cancer creates its own blood supply 7 to 10 years before a cancer tumor is formed? Are you aware that there is a screening that can be done through a technology called thermography?
What is Thermography? Thermography is the measurement of heat temperature radiating off your body. It can be used for many screenings from vascular disease, screening for breast cancer as well as thyroid and dental disease. It differs from mammography and ultrasound screenings because these tests are looking for anatomical changes (as in tumors). In thermography the radiologist is looking specifically for early vascular changes and function of your breast tissue.
Most women do not have their first mammogram until they are 40 years old. Personally, I know woman who have gone in for a routine mammogram followed by a cancer diagnosis. They were completely unaware and their lives were turned upside down. Cancer is a horrendous disease, but with this life saving screening yu may be given the gift of early detection.
