Tara Briggs, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Practitioner

At first, Tara found her way to her mat to simply distress from her jobs working in the mental health field. She instantly fell in love with the practice Having suffered with anxiety and depression most of her life, she noticed that the breath work, meditation, and movement calmed her mind, body, and spirit.Yoga also played a role in Tara’s recovery from addiction. A key component to her recovery was learning to deal with emotions in a healthier way. By incorporating yoga into her recovery process, she gained new, healthy tools to handle stress and aid in her healing. Tara lost her brother to his own battle with addiction in 2017, and she has used her practice to gain the strength to process her grief. Tara teaches basic, but powerful classes inspired by Vinyasa. As a student, you can expect her classes to be approachable, fun, relaxing, and grounding.
Tara’s goal is to get her students to be in the moment and give them the confidence to embrace who they are on and off the mat. Tara completed her 200-hour Teacher Training at Mantra Yoga Studio in 2017. She has a degree in mental health and works as a recovery counselor, coach and is a Reiki 2 practitioner. She completed training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at the Justice Resource Institute. Tara not only teaches at studios, but also at detox facilities, sober homes, and a high school for teens struggling with substance abuse disorder. She also teaches recovery yoga classes designed for those with substance use disorder and classes geared to support their loved ones. Tara will forever remain a student and is extremely grateful for the teachers she met along her path. She looks forward to continuing to follow her passion for yoga and sharing it with others.

Natalia Rosenbaum, LMHC, Yoga Instructor, Sound Healer

Born in Argentina and raised in the United States, Natalia is a lifelong seeker of wisdom and wonder.  After many early years as a Buddhist practitioner, Natalia’s continued quest for truth led her to pursue a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling. From there, she went on to complete extensive yoga teacher trainings, both in the U.S. and abroad, including Kundalini Yoga teacher training at the Ra Ma Institute for Applied Yogic Science and Technology which has influenced and impacted how Natalia works with clients.
Currently, Natalia works as a therapist in a private practice that incorporates a holistic and yoga-based approach to serve a diverse group of people coming from all ages and backgrounds. Through her practice, Natalia has witnessed first hand how integrating the practices of kundalini yoga with therapy breaks the hypnotic patterns of the subconscious mind more effectively than any other method of therapy she has seen.  Since bringing Kundalini Yoga into her work with clients, she has been blown away by the profoundly quick results her clients experience and has been exploring ways to share this technology in the mental health space in a greater capacity.

She recently finished writing a book that is a guidebook for other therapists and healers. The book's mission is to teach healers how to access these practices first for themselves and then to use that experience and foundation to help their clients.

Most recently Natalia created To Self-Activate (@toselfactivate), a resource for people who want to do their own self-guided therapy through virtual courses with her.  By prioritizing kundalini yoga to self-activate, we can also do something Natalia calls "inner-child integration".  By safely accessing the vulnerable parts of ourselves from the past in order to gain compassion and understanding, we simultaneously activate our most brilliant and conscious self through the yogic technology. Natalia believes that when we are self activated, the dependency that is often created in the therapeutic relationship dissolves creating a more integrated person.
