Understanding the early development of cancer is crucial for effective prevention and detection. Tumors can initiate their own blood supply-a process known as angiogenesis- up to 7 to 10 years before a detectable tumor forms.

What is Thermography?
Thermography is a non-invasive imaging technique that measures the heat emitted from your body using infrared sensors. This method captures temperature variations on the skins surface, which can indicate underlying physiological changes. Thermography has applications in screening for various conditions, including vascular disease, breast health, thyroid disorder and dental issues.

Thermography vs. Traditional Imaging
While mammography and ultrasound focus on detecting anatomical changes such as tumors, thermography assesses functional changes by identifying early vascular activity and metabolic processes. It is important to note that thermography is not intended to replace traditional imaging methods, but rather used in conjunction with them

The importance of Early Detection
Many women do not undergo their first mammogram until the age of 40, or the screening is put off due to pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are instances where individuals have routine mammograms, only to later be diagnosed with cancer, often unaware of its presence until it significantly impacted their lives. Early detection through appropriate screenings can be lifesaving, offering a greater chance for successful treatment and improved outcome.

Take Action
Understanding your body and proactively engaging in recommended screenings are vital steps towards maintaining health. Consult with healthcare professionals to determine the most suitable screening methods for your individual risk factors and health profile. Incorporating both thermography and traditional screenings may provide a comprehensive approach to monitoring your health. Empower yourself with the knowledge and take charge of your health journey today.
