What is Thermography?
Thermography is the measurement of heat temperature radiating off your body. It can be used for many screenings from vascular disease, screening for breast cancer as well as thyroid and dental disease. It differs from mammography and ultrasound screenings because these tests are looking for anatomical changes (as in tumors). In thermography the radiologist is looking specifically for early vascular changes and function of your body's tissue.
